BOOK CLUB

In order to have something to show for the strange, interrupted year that was 2020, I suggested that we read a play every week. Between Shakespeare’s birthday at the end of April, and Twelfth Night, the 6th of January 2021, we went through every play in the First Folio (and a bonus!). Every week a new episode was added to the playlist, as well as books on the three virtual bookshelves below.

I personally enjoy The Arden Shakespeare editions for their extensive notes, and the RSC editions for their backstage stories and interviews - as well as statistics and other insights. Devoted as I am, I’ve collected both over the years, and they will each have their own gallery below too!
